The Avery Point guest room is named after our local Avery Point lighthouse located on the scenic UConn Avery Point campus at the mouth of the Thames River in Groton, CT which is just minutes from our inn.

The Little Gull Island guest room is named after the Little Gull Island lighthouse which is located in North Fork, Long Island which at times can be seen from this room.

Named for New London Ledge Lighthouse, which is said to be a “haunted” lighthouse, is located in New London, CT which can be viewed from several scenic viewing points along the CT shoreline.

Similar to the Ashley Bend guest room, this room is decorated with cream-colored furniture and classic neutral walls. This room is named after the famed “Charles W. Morgan” whaling ship built and launched in 1841, and is now America’s oldest commercial ship still afloat and docked at Mystic Seaport.

This room is named for Captain Clark’s beloved boat. Captain Clark is a local legend within our community.

This room is named for “America’s Tall Ship” and training cutter for future officers of the United States Coast Guard. New London is her permanent homeport.

The Nautilus guest room features the largest private balcony at our inn offering classic high-back wooden rocking chairs and views of local Niantic marinas, boat yards and Long Island Sound. Furnished in dark walnut-colored furniture and soothing neutral wall colors, making this room a warm and welcoming escape. The Nautilus guest room is named after the “USS Nautilus”, the world’s first nuclear-powered submarine, and active from 1954-1980. The USS Nautilus is docked in Groton, CT and can be toured at the Submarine Force Museum for free.

This spacious corner guestroom is tucked away in the original Victorian house and has windows with views out to the marinas on the Niantic River and views to Niantic Bay and Long Island Sound. The Crow’s Nest guest room is appropriately named after the structure in the upper part of the main mast of a ship that is used as a lookout point.
